Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore - A Glorious Journey Since 1952 Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), established in 1952, is recognized as a leading institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the western region. The institute boasts a glorious seventy-year journey and holds a prestigious rank in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), alongside IITs and NITs, as declared by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). In 1989, AICTE and UGC declared SGSITS as an autonomous institute.

Under its autonomous status, SGSITS is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (University of Technology of M.P.) in Bhopal. The institute offers a diverse range of eleven UG courses and twenty-five PG courses, covering various disciplines in Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, and Pharmacy.

The institute's campus features spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, four boys hostels, three girls hostels, a transit hostel, and 44 faculty quarters. Additionally, SGSITS houses a central library with an extensive collection of books, reference materials, and a multitude of subscribed online and print journals. The campus also provides amenities such as a playground, gymnasium, indoor sports complex, guest house, branches of Punjab National Bank and Institution of Engineers, Xerox and general stores, canteen, dining hall, auditorium, ladies' common room, dispensary, and the office of SGSITS Alumni Association.
